As I am sure many of you are aware, especially those with teenage boys, Andrew Tate is the name that keeps cropping up. Whether his name is being uttered in disbelief or in admiration - it is being uttered.

Today the British influencer, who appeared on the celebrity television show Big Brother, is in a Romanian prison as part of an investigation into organised crime, rape and human trafficking.

As Tate, who denies the allegations, waits to find out what will happen next, the misogynistic philosophy he has built is still thriving among social media followers. In the real world the effect has been significant.

So what are we doing about  this in school and what could you do as parents/carers? We are having honest conversations with pupils, talking with them about how they view what Andrew Tate stands for and what, in reality, that looks like.

Please see below some good resources that give you information about what we are doing as a school and some suggestions of how you can talk to your children about Andrew Tate.
